Daytime Sessions

Players to be seated 10 minutes prior to commencement:
  • Tuesday - Open to all visitors (play commences at 1.30pm)

  • Thursday - Teams ladder competition on last Thursday of the month. (play starts at 1.30pm)

  • Friday - Open to all visitors (play commences at 11am) Bring your lunch to this session and enjoy the social atmosphere. Tea, coffee will be available.

​Evening Sessions

Players to be seated 10 minutes prior to commencement:


All of our evening sessions commence at 7:30pm during Summer months - 7:00pm during Winter months.
  • Monday - Open to all visitors except for some of May and August when Teams and Swiss Pairs are being played.
  • Wednesday - Open to all visitors except for most of June when Swiss Pairs are being played.

Club rooms are at 130 Tauhara Road.

Directions coming  from the North

At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Spa Rd for 1.7 km
Spa Rd turns slightly right and becomes Tauhara Rd for 1.0 km

Directions coming from Napier

At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto SH 5/State Highway 1 for 2.6 km
Take the exit toward Broadlands Rd for
210 m
Turn right onto Broadlands Rd for 500 m
Continue onto Tauhara Rd for 750 m

Directions coming from the South

At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on State Highway 1 for 5.3 km
At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto SH 5/State Highway 1 for 2.6 km
Take the exit toward Broadlands Rd
for 210 m
Turn right onto Broadlands Rd for 500 m
Continue onto Tauhara Rd for 750 m

Please check our list of Tournament and Session Sponsors in the right column. Some are new this year and please support them when possible. All Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday sessions are now sponsored
Competitions Start in February.

All competitions are in the main, monthly events. Note this is a change from previous years for Tuesday and Fridays.
General Information:
  • Any pair can play in these competitions.
  • You can miss one session and you are allowed a substitute for one of the sessions.
  • It is important that the Director is told before the start of play if you are playing with a substitute.
  • Most sessions will be scored on Raw and Handicap.

Your Programme Book has details of these events.

Whether you are playing in the competition or not, come along and enjoy the game.

  • Well Done Joan Berg and Tineke Baldwin. A very good 71.26% and top in X-club on Friday
  • Supervised Play starts Wednesday February 15th at 2 pm.
