Coming Up.....
Teams: Starting March 27th  and run on the last Thursday of the month.

Again we have 16 registered teams. Some new team names and members, some reconstituted teams. Well done all and especially the leaders for getting the teams together. We also have an excellent sub list and any club member can join that list at any stage. Just let Christine know.

For the first 3 occasions,  when we have 16 teams playing, we will play Point a Board matches within your group ( no handicaps). You can check the groups here

Bayley's Taupo Intermediate Tournament

For Monday Handicap events prizes are awarded on Handicap Scores only.
For Handicap events (Tues, Wed, Fri-Non Trophy ) prizes are firstly awarded on Raw scores and then on Handicap Scores
No pair can win more than one prize on a given day and on Monday a winning pair must include a Junior.


​Competitions Start in February.

All competitions are in the main, monthly events. 
General Information:
  • Any pair can play in these competitions.
  • You can miss one session and you are allowed a substitute for one of the sessions.
  • It is important that the Director is told before the start of play if you are playing with a substitute.
  • Most sessions will be scored on Raw and Handicap.

Your Programme Book has details of these events.

Whether you are playing in the competition or not, come along and enjoy the game.


Congratulations to our new Intermediate Players: Ruth Hennebry, Sue Lower and David Young

Further congratulations go to Sue Lower, David Young and Tony Poole who all featured in the top 20 rankings in their section of the NZ Bridge Rankings. Sue (9th) and David (13th) were in the Club Master section and Tony (18th) in the novice section. A great achievement - well done.
